Just a reminder - this Thursday, February 1 @ 10:00am is the first of our two

Brainstorming Sessions for the 2027 CSLP Slogan and the 2028 CSLP Theme.

If you want the opportunity to talk with other staff about ideas before submitting your survey - come join us!

It's CSLP Slogan and Theme Survey Time!

Have you ever thought about where the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) themes and slogans come from? Who thinks them up? Well, the answer is YOU! Each year CSLP seeks feedback from front line library professionals - Library folks from across the nation contribute their ideas, and together, CSLP's Board & State Reps come to a consensus.



Slogans should be brief phrases that fit the 2027 theme, while theme ideas for 2028 should be 1-2 word concepts like "Oceanography" or "World languages"

Some tips for developing themes and slogans:

--Adaptable for all ages – babies through adults

--Translatable into Spanish

--Avoids puns and wordplay that don't translate easily

--Catchy, memorable, concise

--Inclusive, accessible, applicable across settings

Suggestions are due by Friday, February 16th, 2024.
