Youth Services News Loitering policies/signage

Good morning,
I am interested to know if other libraries are dealing loitering issues at their facility. I realize that there will always be people loitering as libraries as they are public spaces but it seems as though the issues is becoming much worse as we have people sleeping outside our doors at night literally blocking our entrances. We have a few that spend the entire day in our courtyard often sleeping and staff is having to "remind them that we cannot have them sleeping at the library. It makes other patrons uncomfortable when they walk in and see people sleeping or have their belonging sprawled out across the area. 
Do any libraries have polices in place or is there a blanket policy that libraries use to help keep this from becoming an issue. What about signage, what can be posted if anything?
