Hello!

These are just a few examples of the feedback I've been reading this morning from the SRP Parent/Caregiver Surveys:

“I love how it gets the family involved…It gets us up and out during the summer, doing things together as a family.”
“We live in the country and the kids get so excited to participate and interact with other kids in a fun, safe, cool environment.”
“The summer reading program helps keep my son engaged in learning and socializing while out of school.  We live in a very rural area and it is difficult to find engaging activities when school is not in session.”
“We all started reading more and my boys started understanding more when I read to them.”
“Being new in the community this opened an opportunity to get involved and meet friends.”
“We are grateful for this program and how much it promotes reading in our own community.”
“It gave our whole family a way to bond and stay engaged.”

“The library staff was so attentive to all the kids need and they made reading fun for the kids.”


It is fantastic to see in writing the impact you all have on your communities. The Summer Reading Program means so much to the families that attend.  Having this feedback and data really helps the state library demonstrate the positive impact libraries have on every New Mexican.
