Subject: NMHM Questionnaire
Subject: New Mexico History Museum Statewide Questionnaire - Please Share Widely!
Greetings from the New Mexico History Museum (NMHM)!
We're excited to announce that we've launched a statewide questionnaire as part of our Interpretive Framework. The framework will guide selection and development of exhibitions, programs, and events within the museum as well as off site and online. Underlying objectives of this initiative are to help NMHM become more collaborative, relevant, and inclusive. Our aim is to become truly statewide in our stories and engagement with the people of New Mexico.
The questionnaire is intended to help us better understand the diverse experiences and perspectives of residents across New Mexico. NMHM is looking for input from throughout the state so that in all our interpretive activities we are more reflective of the state as a whole and more attuned to people's interests. We realize that not everyone travels to Santa Fe on regular basis. But when people do visit, we would like to provide them with good reasons to come by the museum. Equally important, we want to offer meaningful online content and off-site resources to people without necessarily making a trip to our campus.
We're asking for your help in spreading the word about this questionnaire. Please share it with your staff, communities, and networks. The more feedback we receive, the better!
The questionnaire takes about ten minutes to complete and is available at https://tinyurl.com/NewMexicoHistory . It will be available through October 31, 2023. A flier for the questionnaire is attached.
Thanks for whatever support you can provide.
Sincerely,
Billy
