As the state of New Mexico prepares for historic federal funding to support broadband infrastructure and equity, the Office of Broadband Access and Expansion (OBAE) is working with local partners and counties to organize a series of Regional Broadband Meetings, listening sessions, and community events to gather stakeholders and collectively develop and implement the 5-year Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Strategic Plan and the state’s Digital Equity Plan. To ensure the needs and challenges of all communities, large and small, are addressed, we hope you will help us get the word out and encourage your team and colleagues statewide to participate in one of the first regional meetings scheduled this spring.



  *   Monday, April 17 - 9am-1pm - in Alamogordo - Southeast Region 6
Otero, Chaves, Curry, DeBaca, Eddy, Lea, Lincoln, and Roosevelt counties
  *   Tuesday, April 18 - 9am-1pm - in Los Lunas - Central Region 3
Valencia, Bernalillo, and Torrance counties
  *   Thursday, May 11 - 9am-1pm - in Springer - Northeast Region 4
Colfax, Guadalupe, Harding, Mora, Quay, San Miguel, and Union counties
  *   Friday, May 12 - 9am-1pm - in Las Cruces - Southwest Region 5
Doña Ana, Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Sierra, and Socorro counties
  *   Monday, May 15 - 9am-1pm - in Farmington - Northwest Region 1
San Juan, Cibola, McKinley, and Sandoval counties
  *   Tuesday, May 16  - 9am-1pm - in Hernandez -  North Central Region 2
Rio Arriba, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Taos counties
