Hi  all,


I reached out to IMLS this morning to see if there was any word on when the Native American Libraries Basic Grants application would post.


As you can see in the response, the Notice of Financial Opportunity is being reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget. Sarah from IMLS did say, however, that the deadline for applications is likely to be sometime in early April.


If I learn anything more, I will pass it along.

The NOFOs are currently in OMB review and we hope to be able to post them soon. We are anticipating an early April deadline for the Basic program again this year.

I've had several interactions from tribal librarians recently wondering if I knew when the IMLS Native American Library Services: Basic Grants applications would open and close. Could you give me a timeline that I can share with New Mexico's tribal libraries?



 Having previously worked with the Arizona State Library, I'm aware that tribal libraries over there are wondering the same thing.
