Happy Friday, Tribal Librarians,
I just wanted to let you all know that Mildred Walters won last week's poetry contest. Mildred not only named Luci Tapahonso and her poems "Raisin Eyes" as one of her favorites, but she also mentioned Sherwin Bitsui and Natalie Diaz as two other up and coming Native Poets that she enjoys.  Congratulations, Mildred, a small collection of poetry will be on its way to you early next week.  Stay tuned for more contests as the summer rolls along.
