No Strings Theatre Company will hold Auditions for  Yankee Tavern by Steven Dietz, directed by Ceil Herman, on Sunday, October 12 at 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre, 430 N. Main Street in Las Cruces

The play, described as a fierce thriller with a sense of humor, combines young love,  mystery, and conspiracy, and is set in a dingy bar in lower Manhattan in 2006.

Needed are
3 men (20s-60s)
Adam, a graduate student 
Ray, a resident of the bar 
Palmer, a man 

1 Woman (20’s)
Janet, Adam’s fiancee 

Auditions will be cold readings from the script. A Perusal Copy is on reserve at the ASK HERE Desk at Branigan Library

The current production at the Black Box is directed by Autumn Gieb. Home, I m Darling by Laura Wade is a dark new comedy about life, nostalgia, sex, and cake. Home, I m Darling will continue at the Black Box Theatre through to Sunday, October 19th. Performances are Friday-Saturday at 8pm, Sunday, October 12 and 19 at 2:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. Thursday, October 16.
 
Tickets are $18 regular admission, $15 for students and seniors over age 65 and $12 for all seats for the Thursday, October 16th performance.
