Below is the Audition announcement for the first production in our upcoming 2024-2025 Season.

Auditions for its opening production of the 2024-2025 Season

Edward Albee’s
Seascape

Monday, July 22 at 7 pm
Tuesday, July 23 at 7 pm

The story:

On a deserted stretch of beach, a middle-aged couple relaxes after a picnic lunch and converse idly about home, family, and their life together. She sketches; he naps. Then, suddenly, they are joined by two sea creatures, a pair of lizards from the depths of the ocean, with whom they engage in a fascinating dialogue. The emotional and intellectual reverberations of this bizarre conversation will linger in the heart and the mind long after the curtain falls–or the last page is turned.

Need are 

A male and a female actor ages 20s - 30s, to play the two lizards

A male and a female actor ages 50s - 60s to play the two humans

Auditions will be cold readings from the play text.

A perusal copy of the play is available at the Ask Here Desk at Branigan Library.

Rehearsals will begin as soon as the play is cast.
