[Nstc] Auditions for Ben Hur

> No Strings Theatre Company will hold auditions for “Ben Hur” by Patrick Barlow directed by Autumn Gieb on Saturday, September 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.and Sunday, September 24  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre Annex (Black Box Too) located at 717A N. Mesquite Street, in Las Cruces.

> Needed are four actors to play the members of a fictional amateur theatre troupe. Each actor will play multiple roles and sometimes that of a different gender. No parts have been pre-cast and please come prepared to move.

> Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and some improv. A perusal script is available at the Ask Here Desk at Branigan Library.
> 
> Ben Hur, based on the best-selling nineteenth century novel, comes to the stage courtesy of an amateur British theatre company. In this tale of tomfoolery, four actors struggle along through sea battles and chariot races as rivalries form and offstage romances threaten to bring the whole show down.
