Hi,
"The Killing Game" by Eugene Ionesco, directed by Marissa Bond, continues
for a final weekend. Remaining performances are Friday, February 7 at 8:00
p.m., Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 p.m., and a Sunday Matinee on February 9
at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are going quickly, so make your reservations as soon
as possible by calling the theatre at (575) 523-1223 or online at www.no-
strings.org. The website also has photos of the production as well as the
excellent reviews by Mike Cook in the Bulletin and Algernon D'Ammassa in
the Sun News.
The playwright, Ionesco, who was nominated for the Nobel Prize in 1964,
wrote the play in 1970. The play which keeps the audience unbalanced and
uncertain, uses gleeful dark humor to examine the way people deal with an
unnamed plague. Marissa Bond has appeared onstage at the Black Box Theatre
in "Nora," "Mad Gravity," "Out of Sterno," "The Explorers Club, and
"Agamemnon."
The cast includes Teddy Aspen-Sanchez, Karen Buerdsell, Vanessa Dabrovich,
Gine Del Mondo, Avra Elliott, Cassandra Galban, Erica Krauel, Taylor
Landfair, Ed Montes, Joseluis Solorzano, Nancel Sorrells, Joshua Taulbee,
and Robert Young, Scenic design is by Joshua Taulbee, Light Design is by
Peter Herman, Costume Design is by Bobcat Young, Properties Design is by
Darlene Del Mondo, and Sound Design is by Rafael Medina. Bekah Taulbee is
the Light and Sound Board Operator, and Darlene Del Mondo and Casey Rede
are the Backstage Crew.
The Dance Eclectic will be performing "Dottie" on Friday, February 14 and
Saturday, February 15, both performances at 8:00 p.m. Follow Dottie as she
tries to make in in 1920's Hollywood! More information about the production

House managers are needed for both performances of "Dottie". If you would
like to volunteer, please call the theatre at (575) 523-1223 or e-mail us
at nstcbbt at zianet.com. House Manangers come to the theatre an hour before
the performance, help us with refreshment set up and ticket sales, watch
the play, and help clean up after the performance. We appreciate our house
managers very much and they receive a comp ticket good for another
performance.
There is a wonderful Fractal exhibit ("The Fractal Game") in
thetheatregallery in the lobby during the run of the show and "Dottie." A
wine and cheese reception for the artists will be held on Friday, February
7 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. thetheatregallery is open an hour before all
performances and by appointment by calling (575) 523-1223
