We have Playaway tablets at our library. Since they're tablets they need to either be checked out to patrons or be monitored while in use so they don't walk away. I'm not sure if they're something that would fit in with what you're looking for.</div>

<p><font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Hello Youth Services folks,</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">We are in the position of suddenly needing to replace two AWE stations for the wider age range of 2-12 and have been quoted a cost of nearly $4000 per machine. Do any of you have alternatives for durable, maintenance-free,
internet-free computers with games for children? <br>

<p><font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">The stations came up with a blue screen of warnings which the AWE providers said meant there was a hard-drive problem or something similar. Have any of you had success in having AWE stations repaired?<br>
