<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you to everyone who has reached out with a warm welcome and invitations to visit you around the state. I am working on getting up to speed as quickly as possible so I can begin meeting all your needs.

<p class="MsoNormal">There will be some sort of announcement on the <i>Hitchhiker</i> blog that will have more information, but <i>briefly</i>: I am coming to the state library after nine years as a Teacher Librarian in Santa Fe Public Schools. I am a certified K-8 teacher and Librarian and have a background which includes working in libraries, archives, museum education, continuing education, and university advising. One aspect of my role at Santa Fe Public Schools that I really enjoyed was serving as the district coordinator for professional development for our library staff and advocating for them with our district administration. Being able to work with all of you, all over the state, is really a dream come true for me. I love being a librarian and I love libraries – and I can’t wait to get moving.
