<div dir="ltr">Hello, youth librarians!<div><br></div><div>I am trying to decide whether I will kick off on June 3 or June 4. We'll be pairing our registration day with a Scholastic Book Fair as we always do. Also, I've been collecting books all year (I think I have over 1,000 now) for children to choose from and take home one free book on registration day. We will have a library scavenger hunt of some kind, plus a craft.</div><div><br></div><div>One program I am especially looking forward to is Bedtime Stories with Singing Vikings on July 10 at 6:30 p.m.! We hosted Opera Unlimited last summer (literally hosted--in our homes!) and they did a great show for us about Aesop's Fables. I requested an evening performance of their new show, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, told with Viking characters. Good morning Youth Services staff!<br>
It's been well documented that I HATE winter, I hate it so very much... so instead today I'm going to think about the warm, sunny, warm days of summer (that are warm) and ask you to share with me your kickoff and end dates as well as any fun, exciting programs you're having this summer! I like to visit libraries during the summer (when I know I'm not going to run into snow, unlike my adventure yesterday) and if you have a performer or program you have scheduled maybe I can come visit!<br>

And if you have NOT received your voucher order from Demco, please let me know by the end of this week! If you have, yay!, but I don't need to know. If I don't hear from your library I'm going to assume your order has arrived and when the bill comes I will authorize for payment and there's not much we can do afterwards if you haven't received it. So, again, let me know ONLY if you have NOT received your voucher order from Demco.<br>
