This year we have Game and Fish coming out for a presentation. They bring
lots of specimens for the kids to look at and feel etc. We also will be
taking a trip to the new fire station in Moriarty which is directly across
the street from the library. They will get to walk around the station and
trucks etc. I booked explora for a family science workshop where they bring
a ton of exhibits for the kids to interact with.
Outside of special programs, I do 3 weekly programs.
Tuesdays are Builder's Club which is like a STEM program we build with
legos, popsicle sticks, toothpicks and marshmallows etc.
Wednesdays are Story-time and Craft- I do a Mother Goose on the Loose
storytime and a simple craft in house.
Thursdays are Teen Nights, I usually have snacks and a craft/activity and
sometimes a board game to play. We had 4H come out and do some activities
like macrame, last year and plan to have them out again this year.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Ashley Williams
