Congratulations to Maria Constantine from Columbus Village Library for winning the Adventure Begins at Your Library t-shirt!

Here's Maria's answer to what she's most looking forward to this summer:

I am most excited about the theme this year, and how easy it is to adapt to any program! I serve more retirees than children, so I can look forward to offering workshops for them:
Adventures in Food Preservation (sharing info about drying, canning, etc.)
Adventures in Stitches (a series that will include embroidery, knitting, and upcycling clothes)
Adventures in Brain Care (about dementia prevention)

The kids programs will be more classic, outdoor focused programs. I'll be hosting a weekly session in a nearby park where lunches are served. I'll call it Library Adventures and have a different read-aloud book and craft or activity each week.
