A bit of an embarrassing story but 2nd grade spelling bee, my word was balloon and I completely bombed the spelling caught myself and respelled it correctly knowing it would not be accepted just to prove to myself and them that I knew how to spell it. To this day I spell it in my head before I write it or spell it out loud.
