Good afternoon everyone,
I'm Megan Bennett, an Adult Services Librarian at the Farmington Public
Library. I'm also the coordinator of our Book Group Kits to Go Program,
where we provide "ready to wear" book group kits to libraries around the
state of New Mexico, free of charge (return postage is required for
libraries outside of San Juan County, and we do not mail kits to groups
within San Juan County). You can find more information on the program,
including a list of available kits, on our website (click me!
While our collection of kits is primarily aimed at adults, we do have some
kits that are labeled as YA or JF, including *The Case of the Missing
Marques* and *They Called Us Enemy*. We do yearly development and
maintenance on the collection, meaning that we can, budget and collections
allowing, add material that would be used by our groups. We regularly add
books from our programming.
If this program sounds like something your library would be interested in,
please let me know!
Thank you,
-Megan
