Hi librarians,
I am really looking forward to seeing many of you at the NMLA LibrarySTRONG Conference<https://nmla.wildapricot.org/Conferences/2022/Registration> next week. Registrations are high and the program is strong!
One thing we are missing is enough room monitors so that every program has a designated room monitor. I think it's important that the presenters have someone in the room to help out with logistics and troubleshooting so that they can focus solely on presenting.
So if you are coming to Albuquerque next week Please Volunteer to be a Room Monitor! <https://forms.office.com/g/bdcdSuUqes> Whether it's just one session or several sessions, whatever time you can give to make sure the presenters can focus on presenting is VERY much appreciated. Sign up here: https://forms.office.com/g/bdcdSuUqes
As a small token of thanks for helping make this a great conference, the State Library will be giving every volunteer a reusable canvas bag with the State Library logo on it. We have medium book bags and heavy duty beach totes, whichever you prefer.
Please sign up by Thursday, October 20.... because we're going to hold a short Zoom training for Room Monitors on Friday the 21st at 1pm. We'll send you the zoom link when you sign up. Can't make it? No problem, we'll send you the recording.
Thanks in advance!
Eli
