Youth Services News Possible Professional Development ideas

Good morning Youth Services staff!
It was brought up during the Summer Reading workshops that with the possibility of another year of virtual programs not everyone feels comfortable or has the know how to conduct programs so it got me thinking what could I do to help you all feel more comfortable. I created a Form for you all to fill out the areas of PD you're interest in and if you feel you have the know how to help conduct a program. I have never done a Facebook Live storytime but I know that lots of you have so I'm hoping you will help me! If there's anything else you feel you'd like to learn a little bit more about, you can add that in there as well. And a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered for the Summer Reading software committee, I had more volunteers than needed so I picked a committee of people with different levels of experience using a platform before, different size libraries and different size communities. I emailed the committee this morning and hopefully we will have a decision on the software soon and can start training libraries on that!
