Good morning!
At American Indians in Children's Literature, our annual list of best books
for children and teens is available here:
https://americanindiansinchildrensliterature.blogspot.com/2021/12/aicls-best-books-of-2020.html
Since 2007, we have been reading and analyzing the Native content in books
for young people. That includes critical analysis of popular and award
winning books (like *Little House on the Prairie *and *Island of the Blue
Dolphins*) that misrepresent history or Native people.
When you come across something you'd like us to read/analyze, let me know!
Some of you may be interested in our Milestones list. New this year, it
includes several items specific to Native peoples in New Mexico.
