Albuquerque author Kit Rosewater just did a free virtual visit to a 4th-grade and 5th-grade class in Los Alamos. She's the author of the middle-grade highly illustrated series the Derby Daredevils. 1 and 2 are out, 3 comes out in June.

She was exceptional. She was friendly, focused, informative without being didactic, and engaging without being condescending. We went 15 minutes overtime and the kids still had more questions.
