Good Friday (finally!) morning Youth Services staff!
I gotta tell you, yesterday was CRAZY! I mailed out over sixty shirts to more than a third of New Mexico's libraries. I had mailing labels scattered across the floor while virtually Carmelita read off names to me as I dug through piles of shirts trying to find the right size for each winner. Everyone who won a prize from me this week should be receiving them in the next few days. And I still have shirts left! I was also able to do an inventory of what I do have left to give away so be on the lookout for LOTS of giveaways in the next couple of weeks.

BIG NEWS! On Tuesday, June 30th at 1:00 the Lieutenant Governor, Howie Morales, will be on Facebook to promote Summer Reading in public libraries! He'll be reading The Three Little Javelinas that he checked out from the Silver City Public Library! There's a third Explora STEM video up on our SRP website: https://summerreading.nmculture.org/. This one is Humpty Dumpty: Egg Jumper! Please share these videos with your patrons, they're easy to STEM activities to do at home with materials around the house.
