Hello, everybody!
We have hired storyteller Susi Wolf through the New Mexico Humanities
Council to present two performances of her program, "Animals Tales and the
Lessons They Teach Us." This will be hosted in a Zoom room, with up to 100
spots available at *each* session to log in and participate. I am reaching
out to find out if there are some librarians who would like to share this
event with their patrons.
I can provide a promotional video for your Facebook page, and other
materials to help you advertise in your community.
Susi is really excited to see if we can get a broad reach across the state
for her two shows, since we are not limited by geographic location. Here is
some basic information about the program:
"Animal Tales and the Lessons They Teach Us"
Animal stories, Cherokee heritage, and storytelling traditions are all part
of this exciting program, and Ms. Wolf will be able to answer questions
from attendees.
Two opportunities to view on July 7, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The program will be presented live online via a Zoom conference. Please
choose which time slot you would like, then call Carlsbad Public Library at
575-885-6776 to register in advance, and you will be contacted before the
program with your free access code to attend.
The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and by the New
Mexico Humanities Council.
I hope some of you will take advantage of some free programming online for
your patrons! Send me an email or call if you'd like to participate.
Thanks,
--
