  *   End of summer librarian surveys are due in 2.5 weeks (August 31st). If your program is going through the end of August or even into September, please let me know so I can keep the survey open for you. And if your library did not do Summer Reading Program this year, that's fine but I still need you to fill out this survey- there is a section for those that weren't able to do a program. And remember completion of this survey is required in order to receive your 2021 manual as well as funds to purchase items for 2021 and let me tell you, I've seen the t-shirts and they're fantastic and the pencils?? Best we've ever had! Once you've completed the survey you'll receive a copy of your answers in your email. If you do not receive that email, that means I never received your survey so make sure you hit that submit button and see the message from me at the end!   *   Listening Sessions! The first two CSLP Listening sessions on 2022 slogan, 2024 theme and the current slate of nominations have all filled up and if you signed up for those but not to actually speak there is a link for you to sign up to speak once you've seen the slogan and theme options. I have attached them to this email for all of you, whether you attend a listening session or not. There's a bit of cleanup we need to do with the Spanish translations but let me know if you have any questions and if you have concerns or want to advocate for a certain one, please, please, please attend a Listening Session! I'll be attending all 4 but will be a facilitator at 2 of them so I won't be able to speak on any of the topics.
  *   And CSLP committee sign up time is coming close, I believe we'll have a Zoom where committee chairs will talk about their committees and what is expected of committee members. Once I have that info, I will be sure to pass it along. I just want to start you all thinking of volunteering, it's incredibly rewarding work. Most of it is done through email with the possibility of an occasional Zoom meeting depending on the committee (Vendor has never had a Zoom but Theme/Slogan Review has only had Zooms). I know this past year we had quite a few of you join committees and that was wonderful and I hope you all will continue to serve. If you have questions about any of the committees, let me know!
