Great minds think alike - we had already started doing this with a stuffed dragon! He has been reading all over town, and the plan is to post a picture every few days over the summer.

This idea is in the very early stages and maybe best executed in fairly small towns such as Bayard.



The idea is to have a scavenger hunt with photos of places around town and have the kids write in and tell what the place is, and what its relevance is to the town's history, or to its people.



Maybe have several of the posters all around the town; local grocery store, post office, laundry mat, in the window of the library....



Pick winners that did the work and use SRP gifts.



Just trying to think about things that might get noticed now that our lives have slowed down so much.

You are not alone. We are uncertain here, there is talk of this lasting until the fall (of course that is just rumors), so everything feels like it is up in the air. We have discussed take home crafts as well and canceling our performers but we don’t want to cancel until it gets closer. We are so unsure at the moment as well of what is to come.

I'm feeling really unsure about how to move forward.



Move forward with normal plans?



Do I cancel performer's?



Plan for Online only--which presents a problem bc the majority of our patrons come to use the libraries internet.



Grab and go crafts was something I was considering if we can't meet.



We just have no idea what is going to happen in the coming months.
