Youth Services News SRP 2020 Thread

My thoughts too. We had decided to take a break this summer from paid performers, so the only person I have to cancel on is myself at this point ;)

I have thought about take home crafts as well. Everyone loves story times, but we get some huge crowds. Maybe do them outside? I really can't make any decisions, though, until much closer to June. We really don't know what anything will look like then.

It feels crazy, though - usually by this point I have each day's programs sketched out and dated tubs with the craft pieces ready!

I'm feeling really unsure about how to move forward.

Move forward with normal plans?

Do I cancel performer's?

Plan for Online only--which presents a problem bc the majority of our patrons come to use the libraries internet.

Grab and go crafts was something I was considering if we can't meet.

We just have no idea what is going to happen in the coming months.

Good morning Youth Services staff!

I’m creating a place for people to start discussing Summer Reading 2020. Ideas, concerns, questions, etc. If you have something to add, please reply to this message (and the ones that come after), so it will be easy for people to go back and reference the emails. So… let’s talk SRP 20!
