Youth Services News Summer Reading Workshops

Good Monday morning Youth Services staff!
Just wanted to send a reminder that Summer Reading workshops start in 2 weeks! The first one is two weeks from tomorrow (November 5th) in Gallup. I look forward to seeing lots of familiar as well as new faces! And I'll also be doing a session next week at NMLA for Summer Reading so if you're around on Thursday the 31st at 2:00 come hang out in the Alvarado room, there will be goodies to giveaway (come on, you all know me I can't NOT give stuff away, it's in my blood!) and since it will be Halloween there most likely will be goodies to eat as well!

Speaking of two weeks, I will be sending out voucher information two weeks from TODAY on November 4th. You will have two weeks to place your order so take a look at the catalog or the website<https://www.cslpreads.org/cslp-store/> and start planning what you'd like to purchase. It will only be items that are promotional or programmable (so no gnome rubber duckies!). On the 4th, I will email the person that completed the SRP 19 survey detailed instructions. It's a completely new system this year and it is imperative that you follow all of the instructions. As always, I will be happy to answer any questions but I think it should be fairly easy once you receive the instructions and start your orders. And just as an FYI, sometimes my emails (not the ones from the listserv) get sent to Spam or Junk folders so on the 4th I will send out the email instructions individually to each library that qualified and then send one out to the listserv stating they have been sent so at that time if you haven't seen an email from me with your instructions, make sure to check those folders.
