Youth Services News Suspected Spam: STEM Workshops and Bookmarks!

Hi Deanne,

San Felipe Pueblo would be interested in hosting a workshop.  If it's in September the time frame is doable for us to shut down or cordon off an area to host the group.  Are there any technical requirements? We have a projector, laptop and screen if we need to use those or by then we may have a larger TV that we can use with a USB.

Good morning Youth Services staff!
Explora is in the last months of their IMLS grant, of which we are a partner of theirs, and planning to finish up with some professional development workshops for library staff to get ready for NEXT year's summer reading, Imagine Your Story. They've been working on coming up with science activities to tie in to fairy tales and I think they'll be really good! We're looking at holding 2-3 workshops around the state in September. If your library is interested in hosting us, please let me know- we'll start arranging dates next month. We'll need access to your space 9-3ish, the workshop will run 10-2:30 but we'll need time for setup and takedown.

I also have A Universe of Stories Spanish bookmarks to give away! If your library is interested, please let me know by tomorrow morning 10 am. Depending on how many would like the bookmarks I may give away one pack to each library or multiples... we'll see!
