Good Monday morning Youth Services staff!
Last week I asked the questions:

  *   How many questions are on the librarian survey this year? (You don't have to fill it out to get this answer)
  *   What was the one thing that most stood out to you during your Summer Reading Program?

Apparently, this was a VERY hard question as I only had 3 correct answers to the first part (the second part was really nice to read and I enjoyed all the answers for that one). The correct answer was 20 and I think a lot of people were looking at the Parent/Caregiver survey which has 7 questions. The winners are: Barbara Trujillo from the Cuba Public Library and Ivy Stover from the Magdalena Public Library!

Once again, the librarian survey (which has 20 questions) is the survey YOU fill out if you'd like to receive funds for next year's summer reading program as well as the manual for next year and that can be found at: https://forms.gle/4WUgXbejLQ3ypX428. The deadline to fill that out is August 29th.

The parent/caregiver surveys are not required but are immensely useful in my reporting to the IMLS which funds this program and as an added incentive, I do offer an additional bonus voucher to the library with the most surveys returned in their population category, of which there are 4 ( more than 40,000; 39,999-10,000; 2,000-9,999; less than 1,999). So far I've had surveys returned for 26 libraries. The deadline to receive those is also August 29th and the links are:
