Youth Services News STEM to Read Professional Development Spring Workshop

Good Monday morning Youth Services staff!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the YALSA Engaging Teen Through the Library workshop on Friday, I was blown away by the level of participation of all those who attended and I really hope you all got something useful out of it!

Now that that workshop is over, we have another series of STEM to Read workshops coming up in March! These will be similar to the ones we held last spring and fall on rocks and soil but these will be focused around... SPACE!! Just in time for Summer Reading, A Universe of Stories! They will be held at 3 different libraries around the state and are free for public library staff to attend.   *   March 22nd 10-2:30 @ Loma Colorado Main Library (Rio Rancho)
  *   March 26th 10-2:30 @ Bayard Public Library
  *   March 28th 10-2:30 @ Hobbs Public Library
