Youth Services News Summer Reading Updates

Good Monday morning Youth Services staff!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (if you celebrate) and enjoyed the time off! Just a few quick announcements regarding Summer Reading!

  *   CSLP has voted to swap out program years, so 2022 will now be Oceanography (slogan TBA) with art by Sophie Blackall and 2023 will be All Together Now (we're working on narrowing down the giant theme) with art by Frank Morrison.
  *   I'll be holding a webinar on January 9th @ 12:30 covering a lot of the information that was given in the workshops in November and December. If you were unable to make a workshop or just want to hear the info again please join me! If you can't make that webinar, it will be recorded and placed on our website<http://nmstatelibrary.org/services-for-nm-libraries/continuing-education/ldb-webinars>! I'll be sending out an email with instructions for accessing the webinar that week.
  *   I'm receiving replacement USB manuals from CSLP to replace those that are corrupted. So far the libraries that have told me theirs aren't working are listed below. If you have since discovered yours isn't working or all the files aren't there, please let me know so I can replace yours! I'm expecting the replacements to arrive here in the next couple of weeks and will get them out immediately to you.
     *   Albuquerque
     *   Tucumcari
     *   Santa Fe
     *   Rio Abajo
     *   Mescalero
     *   Vista Grande
  *   When I held the workshops, I didn't yet have the t-shirts that CSLP sends me that I offer as prizes to workshop attendees. I have since received them and I put workshop attendees into the Name Picker Ninja and pulled two winners from each workshop and will mail you a random shirt in a random size. The winners are:
     *   Octavia Fellin workshop- Nita Ford & Anne Price
     *   Espanola workshop- Tammy Romero & Lorriann Encinias
     *   Thomas Branigan workshop- Lisa Neal & Lucas Marsh
     *   Artesia workshop- Melina Cowan & Ashley Maestas
     *   Belen workshop- Maribel Tarango & Angela Creamer
