Waking up on a cold wintry morning and having that first sip of hot coffee, while still in your PJ's with a good resource like a magazine, newspaper, or just scrolling thru your Facebook or twitter, allowing yourself to slowly come alive to deal with the tasks for the day, is sobering. Later in the evening getting back home and relaxing with that really good book to finish, while eating a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of hot tomato basil soup to warm your body, pleasing your soul with this little bit of comfort,negate all that is cold.

Good morning Youth Services staff!
I have a selection of holiday/winter books that I've been wanting to give away, I just didn't know how. But as I sit here looking out my window at the last of the snow we received yesterday it came to me... what is your favorite cold weather activity? Since I strongly (VERY strongly) dislike all things cold weather, maybe one of you can convince me of an upside to this time of year! Email me your favorite activity by today (Monday) at 4 PM and be entered to win the pile o' books in the picture. I'll enter everyone into the Name Picker Ninja and randomly select a winner.
