Recommended Reading at Your Fingertips
Look for YALSA's Teen Book Finder app in the Apple iStore sometime in mid-to-late February.  This free app, funded by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, allows users to search over 1,200 titles of recommended reading, build lists of favorites and locate the library nearest them. Register for Teen Tech Week(tm) by Feb. 6
Teen Tech Week will be celebrated March 4-10 with the theme "Geek Out @ your library."  Register (it's free), get ideas for how to participate and purchase Geek Out themed posters, etc. at www.ala.org/teentechweek<http://www.ala.org/teentechweek>.  Purchase materials by Feb. 15th in order to guarantee regular delivery by TTW.

Teen Read Week(r) 2012 Sneak Peek
If you're making plans to celebrate Teen Read Week Oct. 14 - 20, please know that teens voted online back in Oct. and selected "It Came from the Library" as the theme.  Products featuring a vintage horror movie look will go on sale in the ALA Online Store on March 9th and YALSA will launch its 2012 TRW web site on April 12th.
