Nicolasa Chavez, Deputy State Historian here at the State Records Center and Archives (SRCA), is our official grants administrator and helps coordinate annual trainings using funds from our NHPRC/New Mexico Historical Records Advisory Board grant. Recall that
we had TWO separate trainings on disaster planning/preparedness last year (one at SRCA; the other at the UNM Health Sciences Library); these were supported using these funds.

Nicolasa and I are collaborating on what this year’s training could be focused on, so in anticipation of that I am linking out to a Google Survey for everyone to respond to. We are tentatively aiming to host something here at SRCA in early October (as part
of Archives Month); we would also offer a hybrid option for those located outside Santa Fe.
