<p class="MsoNormal">Please take note of an important survey on cardholder signup policies at public libraries across the United States, commissioned by Brooklyn Public Library.

<p class="MsoNormal">The survey should take about 25 minutes to complete. Because the survey links library name to IMLS PLS data,
<b>respondents will <u>not</u> have to answer questions about their library’s budget, service population, or other standard questions about their library</b>. The survey only asks questions about library cardholder signup procedures. You can see the survey

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#262626">By responding to this survey, you will be contributing to the first known sampling of public library card access trends across the United States.
</span>The survey collects data about your library’s cardholder signup process for adults and children/teenagers, as well as how these policies and procedures are revised.
<span style="color:#262626">Brooklyn Public Library will share findings in a report issued to the field in spring 2024; and will convene a working group next summer to publish a framework for library leaders of best practices around cardholder access.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
