Andrew W. Mellon Foundation</a>, the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums has launched a national initiative to provide support for Native communities seeking the return of culturally significant materials. <br>

The "Going Home Fund: Returning Material Culture to Native Communities" is led by a
<strong><a href="https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=f62d6aee40&e=009ae9317d" style="color:#b02863; font-weight:normal; text-decoration:underline">national council</a></strong> of Native repatriation specialists, museum
professionals, and attorneys.<br>
<br>
During its inaugural year, the Going Home Fund will:
<ul>
<li style=""><strong><a href="https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=4a28f735d7&e=009ae9317d" target="_blank" style="color:#b02863; font-weight:normal; text-decoration:underline">Provide financial support</a></strong> for
tribal communities seeking the return of culturally significant items. Funds may be used to cover the actual cost of shipping, packaging, insurance, and other expenses necessary to facilitate the return, display, and care of the objects.<strong> </strong></li><li style=""><strong><a href="https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=51d803aae7&e=009ae9317d" style="color:#b02863; font-weight:normal; text-decoration:underline">Strengthen the capacity
