Teresa Naranjo, Santa Clara Pueblo Librarian, notes the need for stable funding to support the broad range of programs they offer. Committee questions begin at 10:35:30. Senator Diamond asks about the fiscal agent for these funds. Senator Ortiz y Pino answers
that county governments are the fiscal agent for non-profit libraries, and that tribal governments are the fiscal agents for tribal libraries. At 10:36:40, Senator Gonzales praises the cultural contributions of the Talpa Library in his district. At 10:39:30,
<a name="_Hlk127481070">Senator Muñoz </a>says that there is $15 million for the Endowment in House Bills 2 and 3. He said that the Committee could increase the amount in HB 2/3 instead of passing SB 214. Senator Ortiz y Pino says that he is “planting the seeds”
