<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">Time is running out to apply for funding from the Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 4. Application deadline is Nov. 7 for technology and outreach awards.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">The awards cover the Mountain West states and the Dakotas in the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2023.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">NNLM awards are intended for projects by libraries and other organizations that improve access to health information, increase engagement with research and data, expand professional knowledge, and promote awareness
and use of NLM resources in local communities.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt">Awards range up to $2,000 for professional development, $9,500 for technology improvement and $50,000 for engagement and outreach. Although application deadline is Nov. 7 for the technology and engagement and
outreach awards, Region 4 awards professional development money on an ongoing basis while funds last.</p>
