I few weeks ago I met with Brian Rashap at CNM's FUSE Makerspace (<a href="https://www.fusemakerspace.org/" data-auth="NotApplicable">FUSE Makerspace | Albuquerque, NM | Maker Space, Fab Lab & Training - FUSE Makerspace</a>). He showed me around their facility
and told me about all the various programs and courses they have. I also met one of their new staff members, who is a (former) librarian from Virigina. Wow! It was a great visit and quite inspirational.</div>

We thought it might be great to set up a visit to the makerspace as well as their digital media lab (which is a 5-minute walk) for library staff to see and know more about what's available, the programs and coursework they offer, and begin discussions on possible
collaborations. I see this as an event that would be 10a-2p (to allow for travel), with a stop at 505 Central Food Hall (<a href="https://www.505central.com/" data-auth="NotApplicable">505 Central Food Hall</a>) for lunch. Please fill out this quick Google
