<p class="MsoNormal">I spoke with Eric Partyka from Standard Solar about community solar projects around the state that could benefit libraries. I helped him identify libraries that could be eligible to receive free electricity as part of community solar projects.

<p class="MsoNormal">He may be reaching out to some of you with more info and to gauge your interest.

<p class="MsoNormal">I can’t vouch for or endorse Standard Solar, but I am all for solar powered libraries and libraries getting free utilities. The idea is that while many or most libraries cannot have solar panels on their roof, and don’t have land to put
them on the ground, they could be part of community-wide solar farm network. <o:p>
