<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);display:inline !important">Indian Education Division (IED) </span>held an initial meeting to hear your thoughts and concerns about administration of the funds. After careful consideration, it was determined
that the best way to administer the funds would be a transfer to the NM State Library for administration through existing administrative code. This will allow for upfront payment of the funds, rather than requiring reimbursement, and will benefit from our
streamlined processes developed for State Grants in Aid and TLP Grants. </span></p>

An MoU with IED has been signed so we can now proceed with preparations on our side. We will be looking closely at options for providing you the money upfront in the most efficient and effective way possible. The process will mirror processes you are used
to with the State Library, with a grant agreement and grant guidelines provided to you for signature before the funds are released. We will be asking that you track and report on the funding with your annual reports each of the next two years. </span></p>
