Dear NM State Public Library Directors and Staff,

My name is Andrea Warner, and I serve as the Outreach Coordinator for Double Up Food Bucks<https://doubleupnm.org/how-double-up-works/>, a program operated by the New Mexico Farmers Marketing Association<https://farmersmarketsnm.org/> (NMFMA). I am reaching out to discuss a potential partnership between our program and your esteemed libraries aimed at fostering awareness about the benefits of locally grown produce and the Double Up Food Bucks program.

This year, NMFMA has produced a comprehensive Local Food Guide, showcasing the abundance of fresh, locally sourced agricultural products available right here in New Mexico. The guide not only provides valuable insights into local food options but also offers essential information on how to utilize and multiply SNAP benefits, with Double Up Food Bucks, when purchasing New Mexico-grown produce.

  1.  The name and address of your library
  2.  The name and contact information of the appropriate staff member at your branch

I've also attached some info and resources about Double Up Food Bucks and how to use SNAP benefits at farmers' markets along with a NM Seasonal Harvest Calendar.
