Hello, ninjit don chaa. My name is Matt Gilbert (a.k.a. Wolf Golan). I'm Gwich'in Athabascan-Alaska Native. I grew up in Arctic Village, Alaska but travelled extensively and went to college at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, Ca then finished my Bachelor's Degree in English-Literature at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Nevertheless, it is my Alaska Native/Native American Fantasy epic I am aiming to promote with you all today, the Chandera Trilogy (www.chanderatrilogy.com<http://www.chanderatrilogy.com/>). You can purchase copies on a link to Amazon on the website.

Quick Synopsis of the series:

It's a 3-book series that follows the adventures and battles of a Native American knight stuck on a remote world with his Native American girlfriend, along with a marooned crew. They are welcomed by a medieval kingdom, where they begin repairing their ship but are in the middle of a war the kingdom wages with a dark army of thousands led by a dark lord. They find they are out of warp fuel, and the answer may be in a lost magic rock forged by their goddess in the ancient world but lost to time. Max sets out on a quest aboard an airship with the strongest knights to find the lost rock. A rock that can make their warp fuel, get them home, and also tip the scale in this war that can save this world called: Chandera.

Quick background on the series

This started it as a high school writing project by a H.S teacher that was big into Sci-Fi/Fantasy and lent me his books to help me with the school project. This was 1995, so it took 28 years to finish the series (One Saturn Year), but I made a website with photos from A.I. and I hope you all enjoyed them on the website. The trilogy kicks off a 5 book series and I'm still finishing the last two now, but the trilogy is a story in itself and its finished and available now. If some of you are thinking amazon is going to get a lot of the profit, it will not. Most of the royalties come to me like 70% which is way more than if I was at a real publisher, so you're helping a Native author out. 🙂  However, this is not about money, my main goal is to get these stories out to Indian Country because if I was starved for Native heroes as a kid in sci-fi/fantasy (which is why i wrote this), it means other Native kids are starved for them too so I hope you can help me spread this book to tribal communities, reservations, schools, neighborhoods, and homes.
