Business Planning and Compliance for A New Tribal ISP

Please join Doug Kitch, CPA and Partner at Moss Adams, and Godfrey Enjady, General Manager and founder of the Mescalero Apache Telecom, Inc. (MATI) to discuss Business Planning and Compliance for A New Tribal ISP.

Doug Kitch has worked as a financial consultant for rural telecommunications and broadband carriers since 1991. His key focus areas include federal and state regulatory involvement, including considerable advocacy experience; universal service; jurisdictional cost separations; financial forecasting; solution-oriented strategic planning; and rate of return regulation.

Doug also assists and advocates for improved telecommunications policies for Tribal nations and carriers serving those areas. He’s highly adept in this area, having spent most of his career navigating the complexities of Tribal telecommunications policies.

Godfrey Enjady has vast experience as a Technician/Analyst with CONTEL and GTE-Southwest in the installation and repair of residential phone systems, KEY and PBX business systems, data transmission as well as other aspects of OSP, ISP and customer relations.

Godfrey holds numerous certifications from the GTE Technical Schools. He is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and also a member of the State of New Mexico Electrical Bureau Journeymen JS-7. As a member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe, Godfrey has led the resurgence of utility services, economic and business development by bringing state of the art equipment to the Mescalero Reservation.
