Good morning!
Here is some important parking information for those attending the UNM-HSLIC field trip on September 8. Also, it is highly recommended that you bring a laptop. Let me know if you need one, and I can bring an extra.

Good afternoon,
I can’t wait to welcome you all to the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center next week Friday! There has been a slight change of plans with regards to parking. We received the passes a little later than anticipated and so have decided to hand them out that morning instead of mailing them so we can ensure you will have them.
On the morning of September 8, please:
* Park in the G lot on the northeast corner of University and Tucker. I suggest the University entrance as it’s usually less congested.
* Head to the covered bus stop island (it’s the only one) in the northeast section of the lot and look for the TLP sign.
* George (super nice and probably in a red shirt) will be by the sign at the bus stop. He will have the list of attendees and will give you a parking pass.
* Return to your car and hang the pass from your mirror or place it on your dash in an easily seen position.
* Head back to the bus stop and take a shuttle to the “Medical” stop. George will be available to assist with any shuttle questions. If preferred, it is about a ten minute walk to the library. I’ve attached a map of the routes from G Lot to the library.
If you have an accessible parking placard you can park in any designated parking spot by the library.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you so much!
Deirdre

Founded in 1889, the University of New Mexico sits on the traditional homelands of the Pueblo of Sandia. The original peoples of New Mexico - Pueblo, Navajo, and Apache - since time immemorial, have deep connections to the land and have made significant contributions to the broader community statewide. We honor the land itself and those who remain stewards of this land throughout the generations and also acknowledge our committed relationship to Indigenous peoples. We gratefully recognize our history.
