Good afternoon, Everyone!

Surely, you’re not wondering why in the world I’m emailing you on a Monday and the first day of the month?!  It must be GO BONDS, of course.

Yep – you’ve got six – count ‘em – 6 months to get your remaining 2020 GO Bond allocation spent out and to submit your reimbursement requests to me by the April 1, 2024 deadline.

Not everyone has gotten this far in reading this email.  Six library directors have deleted this email because the subject doesn’t pertain to them.  Why, you ask?  Because THEY have already spent out their allocations, sent in their paperwork, and gotten their reimbursements.

Wouldn’t you like to see your library’s name in this august list?

As of October 2, 2023, public libraries have requested 27% of their GO Bond Allocations.  Tribal public libraries have requested 15.5% of their GO Bond Allocations.  Good thing we have six months left because there’s a lot of money laying around on somebody’s table!

I look forward to hearing from many of you soon. I’m available to work w/you or your financial personnel if there’re questions or clarifications needed on any of the procedures.  I’ll be back in November to let you know how much progress was made this October.
