I would love to start visiting other libraries again.  The Zoom meetings are convenient BUT I feel like people (me in particular) are not paying attention and conducting work.  You can see other doing the same when their cameras are on.  When my camera is off, I walk away from time to time.  Now, if I am honest enough to admit this, how many others are doing the same.

Plus, it nice to see how other libraries and establishments are adapting to the many changes and to see in-person their attempted solutions.  It is encouraging and thought provoking which could lead to action in some cases.

I look forward to these meetings.

Good morning!
I am setting up monthly meetings for all tribal public libraries to meet. Please invite any staff you feel should be a part of these meetings.

I have set these meetings up for the 2nd Friday of each month at 9am. I will be working on topics and guest speakers. The Zoom information below is set for all these upcoming meetings. I would like to also talk about visiting one another's libraries, as well as meet at the State Library sometime.

Our first meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 10, at 9am.
I would like us to talk about conferences - what is there, what are good ones to attend, what have others attended and their thoughts, etc. For this February meeting, we can also discuss any legislation you wish.

Please let me know of any topics you would like to see discussed either in February or months to come.
