Artists who submit will have the opportunity to receive national recognition and funding.
The 2022 Creative Native Grand Prize winner will receive $1000.00 and have their art featured on the cover of CNAY’s 2022 State of Native Youth Report. Additionally, the Grand Prize Winner will be flown to Washington, DC., to attend a public event and reception in November 2022.


Each year, art submissions are inspired by a unique prompt.
The 2022 Creative Native prompt: Identity.
This year’s theme focuses on what makes us who we are. Native youth creatives: How do you center your identity? Is it your culture, education, gender, or lived experience? What makes you, you?


The Creative Native Call for Art will be accepting submissions from self-identified Native youth creatives, ages 5-24, living in the United States through October 21, 2022.
