I am including 2 weeks into one. I wanted to apprise all of my schedule, just in case.....

Friday, September 9: 12p-930p, Window Rock (travel and attendance at Celebration of Din? Authors event)
Monday, September 12: 8a-5p, all day meeting in downtown ABQ
Wednesday, September 14: morning at Pueblo of Isleta Library, heading out of town around 230p
Thursday, September 15 - Sunday, September 18: out of town (attending another fun Osterloh wedding, this time in Iowa!)

I will be "back in the office" on Monday, September 19. While I am out and about, except for when I am in Iowa, I will be checking my email periodically and answer as I can.

Artists who submit will have the opportunity to receive national recognition and funding.
The 2022 Creative Native Grand Prize winner will receive $1000.00 and have their art featured on the cover of CNAY?s 2022 State of Native Youth Report. Additionally, the Grand Prize Winner will be flown to Washington, DC., to attend a public event and reception in November 2022.


Each year, art submissions are inspired by a unique prompt.
The 2022 Creative Native prompt: Identity.
This year?s theme focuses on what makes us who we are. Native youth creatives: How do you center your identity? Is it your culture, education, gender, or lived experience? What makes you, you?


The Creative Native Call for Art will be accepting submissions from self-identified Native youth creatives, ages 5-24, living in the United States through October 21, 2022.

Join CCA and IAIA for an evening of rarely seen, recently digitized video clips from the Native American Video Tape Archive (NAVTA), presented with the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Archives. Each clip is from a different Indigenous community, presenting a variety of historical subjects, topics, events and personalities.
